Did you see a colony of swallows this summer? Were they Bank Swallows? Bird Studies Canada’s Ontario Region is looking for information on Bank Swallow colonies. These highly colonial birds nest in eroding vertical banks along shorelines, rivers, and also in gravel/sand pits among other places.
