Ice Conditions on Bobs & Crow Lakes (February 2014)

Bobs and Crow Lakes ice surface is reported to be solid, with snow drifts and a ‘few patches’ of the “honey comb ice”. We reported to you in our last couple of GBCLA E-lerts the problems with the Bolingbroke dam in November and the early freeze in December. The very cold weather has not discouraged folks from ice fishing, snow shoeing, skating, skiing, skidooing and just enjoying winter on the lakes.
