The Greater Bobs and Crow Lakes Association (GBCLA) works to preserve and enhance the environment around Bobs and Crow Lakes for present and future generations.
Founded in 1979 as the Greater Bobs Lake Landowners Association, GBCLA expanded to include Crow Lake in the mid-1980s and adopted its current name. Today it’s incorporated in Ontario as a non-profit, run entirely by volunteers under an elected Executive and Board of Directors.
What We Focus On
• Water quality • Fisheries • Boating safety • Cottage safety • Government relations • Shorelines & natural environment • Coordination with other associations • Membership & community
Through our programs in lake stewardship, fisheries, and safety, we turn that mission into action — running the marine hazard buoy program, water quality testing, fish stocking, cottage safety initiatives, member communications, the semi-annual magazine, and the Annual General Meeting.

GBCLA represents hundreds of property owners over three municipalities whose enjoyment of Bobs and Crow Lakes is tied directly to the health of the lakes and the surrounding community. Our work depends on strong relationships with our members, volunteers, community partners, and government representatives. Find your municipality below for info on their fire & property bylaws, local events and more.

We would like to thank the ongoing support we receive from the Bobs and Crow Lake Foundation. Without their support many projects would not have come to fruition over the years. We look forward to a continued relationship for years to come, and many more projects that enhance and maintain our lakes.
