The Greater Bobs and Crow Lakes Association is excited to launch a new program to help groups of cottage owners purchase a fire pump to better protect their properties.
Thanks to the generous support of the Bobs and Crow Lakes Foundation, each pump will receive a $1,500 subsidy towards the total cost of $3,586.44.
What Is Included?
- The selected fire pump: WATERAX MINI-STRIKER®
- A demonstration by the supplier on how to use the pump
- Required accessories
- 300 feet of hose
Who Can Apply?
Groups of neighbouring cottage owners are encouraged to apply together.
Application deadline: Labour Day, Monday, September 7, 2026.
Successful groups will be selected based on factors including:
- Location
- Group size
- Accessibility
If Your Group Is Selected
- The GBCLA will purchase the pumps in Fall 2026.
- Payment, by one cheque or e-transfer per group, will be due upon delivery in Spring 2027.
- Future maintenance will be the responsibility of the participating group.
